Volume vs Concentration — They're Not the Same Thing

A common mix-up: vial size (3ml, 10ml) refers to how much liquid the vial holds — it says nothing about concentration (mg/ml). Two 10ml vials from different manufacturers can contain completely different total amounts of active compound, depending on concentration. Always check the label for both volume and concentration, not just one or the other.

Why Vial Diameter Varies

Even at the same volume, vials aren't a single universal size. 10ml vials commonly come in 22mm or 24mm diameters depending on the manufacturer. 3ml vials sit at a smaller, fairly standard 16.5mm diameter, though label thickness can vary slightly between batches.
